Welcome to the 昀椀rst edition of The Extract, a new initiative
from Sertus designed to share insights, innovations and
practical guidance from the world of smoke ventilation.
As a product manufacturer, we work closely with speci昀椀ers,
consultants and contractors who design and deliver the
smoke ventilation systems our products support. Through
these relationships we gain a clear understanding of the
challenges faced on modern projects – balancing compliance,
performance, installation e昀케ciency and evolving building
requirements.
